Williamson Museum
offers group tours through the Museum and of the
Courthouse Square by appointment Tuesday through
Saturday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Guided tours of the Williamson County Courthouse are
available Fridays and Saturdays at 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm,
and 3:30 pm. Each tour allows for a maximum of 20
people. Free tickets are available at the Museum on
a first come first served basis. Each tour lasts
35-45 minutes.
Please, schedule tours at least two weeks in
advance. For any last minute changes, please give at
least 24 hours notice.
Available tours include Williamson
Museum, Georgetown Courthouse Square, and Williamson
County Courthouse.
Williamson Museum Tours:
A maximum of 20 adults per group tour can be
accommodated in the Museum
School tours can be accommodated
with a maximum of 40 students per tour, but can be
combined with courthouse and downtown walking tours
for a total of 150 students at a time. One
accompanying adult chaperone is required for every
10 children on tour.
Georgetown Courthouse Square Walking Tours:
A maximum of 20 adults per group can
be accommodated for walking tours. Remember
that these tours are outside and shade may not be
available. Dress accordingly.
